Years ago when we met Ryan Langston (a model with Down Syndome who you may remember from this Target Ad) I never thought Noah would be modeling himself, but here he is on Steve Madden’s website modeling their new adaptive shoes!
Steve Madden recently released adaptive shoes for children with disabilities and Noah, along with some other children with different abilities, had the opportunity to model the shoes for them. As of the time of this blog post you can find his picture, and others, on their website…and I am so proud!
I am not only proud of Noah and the other children, but I’m proud of Steve Madden for bringing these shoes to market and for including kids like Noah in their marketing. As a parent of a child with Down syndorme I can say that representation matters.
In regards to the shoes; sometimes children with Down syndorme, and other disabilities, struggle with putting on their shoes and especially tying them. These shoes have a zipper that makes them easier to put on, and elastic on the heal which is also helpful. I’m super thankful that companies like Steve Madden think about kids like Noah!
Noah enjoyed doing a little photo shoot in our backyard!

These photos are beautiful. So impressed with Steve Madden for taking this initiative. Will definitely look for these shoes for my granddaughter Maddie who is Noah’s age and was born with Down syndrome. She is starting 4th grade in a few weeks. Can’t believe her wonderful journey!
Thank you If you end up getting a pair of their adaptive shoes please be sure to let me know how you like them!
Wow! Noah has really grown so much. I haven’t seen or read anything about him for some years now. He is a very handsome young lad and I love the modeling pictures.
Noah is looking good!! What an awesome model. Love it!! Keep the updates coming Rick!
Thank you and thank you!
Noah is such a handsome young man! These pictures are great. 🙂 It’s wonderful that Steve Madden has created these shoes with ALL children in mind!
