Back in February I wrote about Ethan Saylor; a 26 year old man with Down syndrome who was murdered by police over a 12 dollar movie ticket. Ethan Robert Saylor went to watch a screening of “Zero Dark Thirty,” and after the movie was finished  briefly left the theater before walking back into the theater to watch the movie a second time.

This weekend we were invited by Sea World San Antonio to come check out their park (which has an awesome new water park!) and to learn about their special needs discount program. I had no idea Sea World offered discounts to families with children raising special needs, but they do, and it’s a great deal.

As some of you (especially those of you follow our story on Facebook) may remember about a year ago Noah took his first steps! I was lucky enough to not be there 🙁 I was hanging out with my family in Colorado for a brief visit so of course Noah thought that was a good time to try out this major milestone. Thanks to technology I was able to witness it via FaceTime, and over and over again thanks to video.

I came across a story in The Daily Mail about a 26 year old man with Down Syndrome, Robert Ethan Saylor, who was suffocated by police after not leaving a showing of the movie “Zero Dark Thirty” Robert’s death was ruled a homicide today. (Meaning these policeman killed this man.)
