This Kid Is Flying High…And I Couldn’t Be More Proud!

This little boy is seriously flying high; and I’m so excited about the plans God has in story for this little guy.  I can’t believe I get a front row seat to this story.

I may come off as a cheesy dad sometimes (ok all the time)….but what can I say, this little boy brings out the cheese in me.  I’ve now become that annoying dad who pulls his phone out at dinner and shows you pictures and video while you’re trying to enjoy your yummy P.F. Changs!  I can’t believe it.  But I totally am.

What can I say…I’m one proud (and cheesy) dad.  And I’m cool with it…like really cool with it.I absolutely love being his dad.

Hi, I'm Noah's Dad and I'm passionate about giving the world a window into our life as we raise our son who was born with Down syndrome. I also enjoy connecting with other families, so let's stay connected.

  • This post brought tears my eyes...the love you have for your son is incredible and such a testimony to the world on the beauties of having a child with down syndrome!

      • That is so wonderful : ) Just as a little background: we have 6 "typical" children and we are open to (and even anticipating) having a child with down syndrome one day through either the womb or the miracle of adoption. Blogs like yours help our family to prepare and get us excited about our possible future!
It really hit me hard when you said in the news interview that for every "Noah" you see, there are 9 more who were never born because they were aborted in their mother's womb. Wow! It's so sad and it not need be if everyone could see what a treasure these children are....I am so thankful your blog is able to do that : )

        • @Sandi,

Thanks so much for the kind words...and 6 kids! Wow...! You guys must have a very active house. :)

Thanks for sharing our journey with us. I look forward to getting to learn more about your family as well.

  • You guys are awesome parent! I hope he will appreciate this blog when he gets old enough to understand the significance of it and all the people that your family have touched. You give hope and support to so many people you have never met. I don't have any children but I am a medical professional and a former teacher of young children so I can appreciate all that you do.

    • Thank you so much. We appreciate all of your support!

What sort of medical background and teaching background do you have? It sounds awesome.

  • Thank you so much for all you do through Noah's Dad! I know what you and your wife feel for Noah in the depths of your hearts. My husband and I feel these emotions for our 2 year old son, Mateo (DS). Isn't God amazing, we are the ones who have been blessed by our son's! I cannot wait to see Noah grow, he is doing so wonderfully! God Bless

  • I know exactly how you feel, I feel the same way about my little guy, he brings unbelievable amounts of joy to our entire family. Thanks for sharing your posts, they always make me smile :)

  • We are right there with ya! We love Noah and we love our little boy so much! I pull out my iPhone so much now it's become another part of my body! Everyone knows me - I'm a MAMARATZZI!!! HA! You SHOULD be so proud. God has given you a great little blessing.

    • Thanks! Yes..we are soooo proud!

And...we love seeing all of those pics of Enzo pop up on our faceook page. :)
