We’ve always wanted to visit the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, so I thought my wife’s birthday would be a great time to go!
We had a great time hanging out with good friends and walking around in the 9 degree weather inside of the ICE exhibit. (The below freezing temperatures made the warm dinner we enjoyed at Zeppole afterwards even better!) After dinner we took some time to walk around the gorgeous Gaylord hotel to take in all of their beautiful Christmas decorations. If you are looking for a great place to take a family picture, or see a fabulous display of Christmas lights…this is your place!I’ll write more about our experience at ICE when I finally get a chance to catch up on our videos, but in the meantime if you’re looking for something fun to do in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area this Christmas season, be sure to add ICE 2011 to your list!
PROTIP: Be sure to bring some gloves!
Have you ever been to any of the Gaylord hotels, or to any of their ICE exhibits?
We will be going to the Gaylord Opryland (Nashville, TN) ICE display in two weeks! We are very excited about it, especially our daughter who can’t wait to slide down the ice slide (BRRRR!). Can’t wait to see your videos of it!
