Win 1 of 14 Adaptive Bicycles in Friendship Circle’s: The Great Bike Giveaway

I’m often approached by companies and organizations asking me to promote their product, service, or contest to this awesome community of friends we have here. However, my goal is to promote only those items which provide a high value for my readers. And I think The Great Bike Giveaway from The Friendship Circle fits that description.

If you don’t know about The Friendship Circle here’s a brief description from their website:

Friendship Circle is a non-profit organization that provides programs and support to the families of individuals with special needs. In addition to assisting individuals with special needs, the Friendship Circle enriches its vast network of volunteers by enabling them to reap the rewards of selfless giving.

Pretty cool, huh?

So what’s The Great Bike Giveaway all about?

Some children born with physical disabilities are in need of an adaptive bike. However the cost of these bikes can be expensive, which in turn can keep many families from being able to afford one for their child. But here’s the cool news; the fine folks over at The Friendship Circle have partnered with some generous adaptive bicycle companies and are giving 14 children with disabilities an adaptive bicycle!

Pretty cool, huh?

Ok, so how does my child win one of these adaptive bikes?

Here’s the details.

Submit on Facebook:

You have until May 10, 2012 to submit a creative and fun photo of your child with a 250 characters that describe why your child needs an adaptive bicycle.

Share with Friends and Family:

From May 13th -18th share your submission with as many friends and family members as possible. Encourage them to vote for your submission and ask them to share with their friends and family.

Win:

The 14 submissions with the most votes will be the lucky winners and will receive one of the 14 prize bikes. In addition any submission that receives 100 votes or more is eligible for one of four Director’s Choice prizes.

Again, pretty cool, huh?

Just visit their Facebook page to read the contest rules & details, and to get started. Good luck!

Does your child already have an adaptive bike? If so, leave a comment below and tell us which one, and how you (and your child) like it. And please be sure to let me know if you entered their contest. Once again, good luck!

  • Fantastic! Our 4.5 month old does not need one of these... yet. I can't wait to read all the entrant's interesting bios though! Great idea for a giveaway too.

    • Teresa, The child does not need to be 13. The person submitting needs to be 13 or older. The child can be any age.

  • What's up, just wanted to say, I enjoyed this post. It was funny. Keep on posting!
